HOME UPDATES THINGS TO THINK ABOUT WHAT CAN YOU DO IMAGE GALLERY

1) A RECENT EMAIL REPLY FROM PARKS DEPARTMENT:

Thank you for your email with regard to the application for a dog off-leash area in Little Norway Park, located in Ward 20 Trinity-Spadina. Your email was received by the office of Brenda Patterson, General Manager, Parks, Forestry and Recreation for further review and follow up.

The outcome of the meeting with residents on April 15, 2009 was an agreement to proceed with a "four month fenced off-leash area" on a pilot project basis. We are planning to proceed with this plan, however, based on further input, we will review  options for off-leash pilot to be located adjacent to the current ball diamond. Staff is working closely with the local Councillor to ensure the best possible location for the off-leash pilot.

Our intent is to report back to the community on the results of the pilot in the fall.

Thank you for bringing forward your request.

Thank you,
